The balance is topped up from $5: with a card issued by a bank in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or the United Kingdom, including via Apple Pay and Google Pay (paid in euros, from €5), with a Russian bank card or via SBP (paid in rubles), and in USDT on BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain). The dashboard shows the amount to pay before you go to the payment page.
Yes: 14 days of Pro — once and without payment, with a button in the dashboard. After it the account returns to Free and nothing is charged.

The plan renews from the balance for the same period, with a reminder 3 days before. If the balance is short, you have 3 days to top it up, then the plan switches to Free. Auto-renewal is turned off in the dashboard Billing section.
To a more expensive one — any time: the unused remainder of the current plan is credited towards the new one. To a cheaper one — after the paid period ends.
Nothing is deleted: connected accounts keep working. You cannot connect new accounts beyond the Free limit, and risk-manager seats do not work on Free.
An extra monitoring account — $2 per month on any plan, including Free. A MetaTrader 5 risk-manager seat — $5 per month with a paid plan. On a paid plan add-ons renew with it; on Free — every 30 days from the balance.
