In short. An investor needs live data over a long period, not screenshots of a good month: return excluding deposits, maximum drawdown, length of history, number of trades and risk. The best way is a link to a page that updates itself from the terminal or the broker, where you choose what is visible.
What to show
| Metric | Why the investor needs it |
|---|---|
| Return excluding deposits, month by month | shows whether the result is stable or rests on a single month |
| Maximum drawdown | what they would have had to sit through; return without drawdown means nothing |
| Length of history and number of trades | three months and 15 trades are luck or bad luck, not statistics |
| Profit factor, average risk per trade | where the result comes from and how much you risk |
| Open positions and exposure | no «hidden» floating loss |
| Data freshness | is the page updating or is it a snapshot of the past |

What not to do
- show only the best month or the best of several accounts;
- present a demo account as a live one;
- hide drawdown and open losing positions;
- send the master password — for viewing there is the investor password and public links.
If you are raising other people's money for management, this is regulated in many countries — check the requirements of your jurisdiction.
Which links Davinchu provides
| Link | What is visible | Where to turn it on |
|---|---|---|
| Public account | optionally: account number, balance and curve, trading history with statistics and monthly returns, lots, SL/TP, open trades, a total for each EA (magic), trade tags and comments, prop account progress | account settings → «Permissions» → «Account: Public» |
| Account portfolio | return for today, 7 and 30 days and all time; optionally — amounts, drawdown, composition (no account numbers), exposure, account status | «Accounts» → «Portfolios» → «Share» |
| Trader profile | public name or nickname, published live accounts, return and curve in %, recent trades | «Settings» → «Privacy» → «Public profile» |
| Investment portfolio | composition in %, TWR return vs a benchmark, drawdown, volatility; amounts optional | «Accounts» → «Investments» → portfolio → «Share»; an «Investor report» PDF is there too |
| Journal | statistics and up to 500 trades with prices, stops and results — no notes | journal → «Access» → «Publish the journal» |
The pages open without sign-up and update on their own: MetaTrader 5 data comes from the EA in the terminal, exchanges and brokers via API. The account's trades and balance cannot be edited in the dashboard — only journal notes can, and manual trades do not count towards account statistics; a public journal shows whether it is kept from an account or by hand. The link to an account, portfolio, journal or investment portfolio can be revoked — a new publication gets a new address.
Good to know
- The «✓ Verified by Davinchu» badge on an account portfolio means all its accounts except archived ones have sent data by themselves — from the EA or via API, not by hand — within the last 7 days: the statistics are live.
- Public pages are not indexed by search engines. In a messenger the link unfolds into a card with the name and numbers — only from what you opened: for an account, the number of trades, win rate and profit factor.
- Rename the account before publishing: by default it is called «Davinchu EA · MT5».
- A trader profile stops opening when turned off, but comes back at the same address when turned on again.
More on the «Account monitoring» page and in «MT5 investor password». The Free plan connects two accounts at no cost, and you can share a public account link right there.
