Risk per trade, daily stop loss, max drawdown, trades per day, open positions and trading hours are set in the dashboard and reach the EA on their own.
A MetaTrader 5 risk manager whose limits actually hold
Limits are set in the dashboard and enforced by the Davinchu T-Manager EA right in the terminal: risk per trade, daily stop loss, max drawdown, number of trades and positions, trading hours. At 70% and 90% of a limit you get a warning; at 100% new entries are closed. The EA never touches open positions.

What T-Manager does
New entries blocked
At 100% of the daily limit entries are closed until midnight; for drawdown — until it falls below the limit. Open positions are not closed.
No stop, no entry
With a «Risk per trade» rule, an entry without a stop loss or with risk above the limit is rejected right on the panel.
Early warnings
A yellow line on the chart from 70% of a limit, events and notifications at 70, 90 and 100% — in Telegram, by email or in Discord.
Manual trading panel
Position size from risk, one-click or line orders, breakeven, trailing, partial closes, closing by percent and by side.
Works offline
Limits are calculated from the account history in the terminal and stored in an encrypted file — a trade never waits for the network.

Set the limits
In «Risk Manager» pick an account or «All accounts» and enter the limits in percent.
Get a key
The dashboard issues a T-Manager key for the MetaTrader 5 account — independent of the monitor key.
Install the EA
Allow WebRequest for the dashboard address, drop T-Manager on a chart and paste the key.
Trade from the panel
Size comes from risk, and at 70, 90 and 100% of a limit you hear about it before you lose more.

A limit is set for one account or for «All accounts» — then it applies to each account separately, not to their sum. The action is your choice: «Warn at 70% and 90%, close new entries at 100%» or «Warn only».
How T-Manager enforces limits
- Once a minute the EA fetches the rules from the dashboard, but it calculates them itself from the account history in the terminal. Daily loss is the day's closed trades with commission and swap plus the floating loss of open positions (floating profit does not reduce it), as a percentage of the balance at the start of the day; the dashboard counts it the same way. Drawdown is measured from peak equity adjusted for deposits and withdrawals. A trade never waits for the network.
- From 70% of a limit a yellow «Risk: … (N% of limit)» line appears on the chart; at 70, 90 and 100% the dashboard creates an event and sends a notification.
- At 100% a red «TRADING BLOCKED BY RISK» banner shows the reason and the reset time. Open positions are not closed: you manage them as usual.
- Without a connection the last received limits apply — they are stored in a file that is encrypted and bound to the account. The licence works offline for 72 hours; after that only new entries are closed.
The block applies to entries made through the T-Manager panel, and trades from the standard MetaTrader window or other EAs count towards the daily loss, drawdown and trade count.
Manual trading panel
- Position size from risk: in money, in percent or in lots; the risk base is balance, equity, free margin, a custom amount or the balance at the start of the day, week or month.
- One-click BUY and SELL, and an order drawn as lines you drag on the chart.
- Stop loss from recent bars or from ATR.
- Automatic or one-button breakeven, trailing stop, partial closes including dynamic levels.
- Close 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100% of a position, winners or losers only, by side; auto-close on profit or loss, «close all» with confirmation.
- Virtual stops, take profits and pending orders, OCO, trailing pending orders.
- The header shows total risk if every stop is hit and the number of positions without a stop.
There is also a local «Day control» in the EA inputs — daily profit target, losing streak, pause after a loss, prop drawdown, a news filter based on the MetaTrader 5 calendar and a trading window. It is off by default.
Prop account
In the account settings you set the phase (1, 2, 3 or Funded), the profit target and the daily and total loss limits. The account page shows «Target X%: Y%» and the daily and total loss against the limit — from the starting balance, with the day starting at midnight. This is progress tracking; trading is stopped by the risk manager rules. More in «Prop firm risk management».
FAQ

Does the risk manager close open positions?
No. At 100% of a limit only new entries are closed; open positions can be managed as usual. Closing positions on a limit exists only in the local «Day control» in the EA inputs and is off by default.
Can the block be bypassed?
Entries through the T-Manager panel do not open after a block, and trades from the standard MetaTrader window or other EAs count towards the daily limits. Trade through the panel and the limit triggers on time.
What happens without internet?
The EA keeps enforcing the last received limits, stored in an encrypted file bound to the account. The licence works offline for 72 hours; after that only new entries are closed.
Is it suitable for a prop challenge?
Yes: a daily stop loss and max drawdown in percent close entries before a prop firm rule is broken, if the limit is set with a margin. Target and loss progress for the phase is shown on the prop account page.
How much does it cost?
Risk manager seats come with paid plans: Plus — 1 account, Pro — 5, Elite — 20. An extra seat is $5 per month on top of a paid plan. The Free plan has no risk manager.
Is there a risk manager for MetaTrader 4?
It is in development. T-Manager currently works with MetaTrader 5. Monitoring, the journal and account analytics for MetaTrader 4 already work — through the Davinchu Trade Monitor EA.
