Limits in the terminal
T-Manager closes new entries at 100% of the daily limit or max drawdown and warns at 70% and 90%.
Set the daily loss limit and max drawdown slightly stricter than your prop firm rules — the T-Manager EA closes new entries before a rule is broken. Phase progress is on the account page, and the journal shows which mistakes cost you the challenge.
T-Manager closes new entries at 100% of the daily limit or max drawdown and warns at 70% and 90%.
The «Risk per trade» rule rejects a panel entry without a stop loss or with risk above the limit.
Phase, profit target, daily and total loss limits — the account page shows how far you are from the target and from the limit.
The journal counts on-plan and off-plan trades and the cost of violations — you see what exactly is failing the phase.
Each phase is a separate account; limits are set per account or for all accounts at once, each one separately.

The Davinchu Trade Monitor EA in MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 sends trades, balance and history.
In the account settings — phase, profit target, daily and total loss limits.
Daily stop-loss and max drawdown with a margin to the firm rules; install T-Manager in MetaTrader 5.
Enter through the T-Manager panel and mark in the journal whether a trade was on plan and what the mistake was.
You set the risk manager limits yourself — from your prop firm rules and with a margin: then T-Manager stops new entries before the firm's rule is hit.
| Firm rule | What to set in Davinchu |
|---|---|
| Daily loss limit, e.g. 5% | «Daily stop-loss, %» — with a margin, e.g. 4% |
| Maximum drawdown, e.g. 10% | «Max drawdown, %» — e.g. 8–9% |
| Risk per trade cap | «Risk per trade, % (max)» — it also blocks panel entries without a stop loss |
| No trading in certain hours | «Trading hours» with a time zone |
| Cap on positions or trades | «Max open positions», «Max trades per day» |
At 70% and 90% of a limit you get a warning; at 100% the T-Manager EA closes new entries: for daily limits — until midnight in the time zone of the risk manager's «Trading hours» block (UTC if it is not set), for drawdown — until it falls below the limit. Limits are calculated in the terminal from the account history, so they keep working without a connection to the dashboard.
In the account settings mark it as a prop account and set the phase (1, 2, 3 or Funded), the profit target and the daily and total loss limits. The account page shows «Target X%: Y%» and the daily and total loss against the limit — from the starting balance, with the day starting at midnight. This is progress tracking, not a block: trading is stopped by the risk manager limits.
The risk manager comes with paid plans: Plus — 1 account, Pro — 5, Elite — 20; an extra seat is $5 per month. Monitoring, the journal and prop progress are also available on Free (2 accounts). More on the «MT5 risk manager» page.
Those that give you a MetaTrader 5 or MetaTrader 4 account and allow EAs on it: Davinchu connects through an EA. The T-Manager risk manager works in MetaTrader 5, the MT4 version is in development.
No. You set the limits yourself from the firm rules — ideally with a margin, because the firm may count the day by server time and drawdown by equity.
At 100% T-Manager blocks new entries through its panel, and the local «Day control» in the EA inputs can close open positions on a limit — turn it on if you need it.
Prop account progress counts drawdown from the starting balance. The «Max drawdown» limit in the risk manager counts from peak equity — it behaves like a trailing one and is stricter than a static rule.
Monitoring, the journal and prop progress are on Free (up to 2 accounts). The risk manager starts with the Plus plan.
